Got a new place to hunt...1st hunt did not go so well.

I got hooked up with a new spot to hunt this week. Only 40 acres but it is only 7 minutes from my door. No one has hunted it for years. Took a walk in the rain the other day and was quite impressed with all the tracks. Also found some nice rubs ! Not much for woods but alot of high grass and patches of thicket. There is a cornfield about 50 yards wide that runs the length of he property with alfalfa one one side and a 15-20 yard strip of trees that has thick patches of brush and high grass on the other side. I think I will kill a deer here. Went out tonight and had deer coming out of the high grass to the alfalfa around 4:30. All does but at least I saw deer. I dropped my bow out of the tree and it landed perfectly on its bottom cam, on the only rock under the tree.... Bounced about 10 yards. Not a good night. I gathered my gear and headed home. Anyone have a mathews cam? 28rhl off a drenalin. I need one quick! Bottom of my cam looks a bit mashed. I drew the bow a few times and all seems ok....but feels like it has a sharp edge and I aint takin no chances.....

Yes I did buy it new. From you guys, But it has been a number of years. I think I bought it the first year the dren came out. Is that a possibility being how long ago I purchased it?

Yeah it doesnt matter when you bought it because they have a lifetime warranty. The only problem is that the cam did not fail itself, but I may be able to pull some strings. The archery guy gets in at 9 so I will call them then and get back to you tommorow by 10 and see if we have one and what we can do for you.

I just contacted one of the guys I work with and your cam is covered for sure even if you drop it. So you can get one under warranty for sure, but its just a matter of if we have one in stock or if we have to order one.... SO thats good news so far!!

Good news!! We have two of them. What we will do is put one of those on for you to use for free and order you a warranty one and then when the warranty one comes in we will swamp them out again. I told Denis that you might be down today and I expalind the situation. Just tell him your joes friend and he should be able to help ya out
