One of mine has been over a salt lick since July. Its easy access with the truck or atv and the deer keep coming to it. The other I bounced around the woods. I left it in various spots for 3 week periods. I felt 3 weeks was a good amount of time to get an idea of which deer were using which spots. I found that the deer on the private land I hunt (only 120 acres) are pretty segregated a lot of the deer using one end of the farm never ever showed up on cams over trails on the other end.

I have four that I haven't checked in 7 weeks. Waiting for a south rainy day to check them.

I mainly use them for inventory and therefore only leave em in an area for 10-15 days.
