foltzy wrote:Thanks guys. Right now I should probably be pumped, Instead I feel like crying :( Tonight I headed into a bed I located in the public marsh every thing was perfect I had just the right wind to get in there and enough wind to cover my noise through the cattails. at around six my target deer got up and started beating up every peice of brush within reach, within half an hour he had worked his way to within thirty yards. He's coming right down the trail that would run him within two yards of my tree. now he's at twenty I need him to come another five yards for a shot, he takes another step I draw back now all I need is two more steps and he's getting the shaft. He takes a step then out of nowhere he turns left right into the thick and starts a fight with a clump of brush. wtf I had to watch him for twenty minutes beating the heck out of that brush before the wind finally swirreled his way then he snuck back to the bedding area.
I was two steps away from killing two P&Y in two days
tommorow night I'm heading to within fourty yards of his bed if he happens to bed there again he going on the wall.
In case your wondering he's a 150" mainframe ten with both g2's split, I have one of his sheds and a trailcam photo from summer.

WOW, what a past couple of days you have had foltzy. I sure hope you get your chance tomorrow.

Nice buck for sure.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.
