My home state of MD can produce bucks like you see in the midwest, however with much less body weights. A giant buck MIGHT weigh 180 tops.
The 2 MD records for Typical and NonTypical where both killed in, or very near marshes. I thought I would share the stories. The NonTypical was killed very near to my home.

Did any of your home state record book bucks have wet feet?
Good Luck on the Marsh Monsters this season. We open tomorrow.

Re: MD Monsters
Thanks for sharing.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Re: MD Monsters
Those are some serious slobs Brandon....I know the WI typical archery record was not a swamp buck but the archery non-typical may have well been...I know it came from an area with swamp nearby.
Best of luck to you at that marsh set-up we looked at...hopefully that big boy gives you a shot
