I do indeed give the hunting celebs credit for making it to where they are. Personally not for me, I can imagine its a huge headache at times. Not a position I'd like to be in. The thought of being one of the camera men who gets put on a deer every now and again would be alright though. Just along for the ride and doing the filming get to make a few kills a yr. I could handle that.
It would be hard for me to be a cameraman because I love to hunt too much. I couldn't just sit back hit record and watch everyday. It would kill me only getting to hunt once in a while. A camera man is probably the hardest working man out there because he has to have his gear ready at any time and while everybody is having fun he's working recording it.
It takes a special person that's for sure.
Good point! Maybe I'm just weird (shocker I know) but I find nearly as much enjoyment watching others get it done as I do getting a kill myself. For me its getting on the animal or getting close with them and them getting away that keeps me coming back for more. Maybe that will change when I start killing truly big deer. Til then I love the success of others as well as myself. Camera man would be tough though, especially when the hunters miss those easy shots on film...then I'd wish I was in the drivers seat.
