Set up the last ladder stand today...needed help carrying it

Unread postby DeereGuy » Mon Sep 12, 2011 11:01 am

I needed to get my ladder stand set today and there wasn't any help around. I decided to strap it to my loader on the tractor and it worked out great....this was just to cumbersome to move by myself the 200 yards it had to go.

I used my cell phone to take some videos of setting this up by myself and they came out ok.....if I get time this eve I will put them together and post if anyone is interested.

Thanks Zap...my wife and I are very fortunate. We both love living out in country. We had this log home built in 2004 and have worked out tail off on it. Finally we can both take a breather and enjoy things a little more.

My hunting has been limited for various reasons until this season. I am really excited about it all.....we have a early anterless season that starts on the 15th and ends on the 19th and I have the days off. Our bow season starts on Nov 1st. I will be taking time off on the last week of October and the 1st week of November. I hope to be tagged out for a buck by time rifle season opens on November 15th. We have unlimited doe permits here on private land so I hope to take a few along the way plus one during our early season.
Be safe and enjoy!

I bet your buddy ( John Deere ) won't steal your spots after helping carry the stand either! 8-)
