I moved a trail cam on the 6th to a new area that I had seen some bucks hanging around. I didn't get any pics of them but I do have some of the does that are there.

Cool, why are all the deer checking out your camera so much? Wouldn't think it flashes during the day.

Ya know they haven't done this any place else I have had it....I wondered the same thing. No camo on it but it was like that in the other 3 locations it's been in.

This is completely digital so it doesn't make a sound...but it does have a red led that comes on when it senses something in range...maybe I should cover it with some black tape and see what happens...

I most often don't get good bucks on film for 7-10 days after putting them out. It takes awhile for your scent to be gone and bucks to trust the spot.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

I won't be covering the IR...just the arm led...it is a single red led that comes on.

Yep your right.....right now they are staying along the swamp line about a 100 yards away......which is where I will be come October 1st. There is lots of thick cover between this spot and there. Most of the time the only time we see the bucks in here is during the rut...

Nice. I plan on packing my freezers full of grandmas this year. Didn't keep enough meet last year, donated too much.
