New pics of my 200 inch two years later.
I posted pics in another thread on Iowawhitetail about a deer that i shot that i had pictures of.Well i got a pm from a fellow member of Iowawhitetail that said he had pics of the same deer. His buddy was driving down the highway and thought there had been an accident because so many cars were pulled over, and he is a first responder. He went back to the car and grabbed a camera and got some great shots. The pictures were taken in nov. and i shot the deer 1 mile away on dec 24th.The deer was locked down with a doe and he was not leaving her.The third picture is by far the best that i now have. Here they are.

Great story and great ending. History of the buck you kill is always interesting. Thanks for sharing.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Re: New pics of my 200 inch two years later.
Nice deer. I just read a the story you posted on another forum the other day telling about this hunt. And somebody mentioned they knew you from another forum, where it was told you killed 4 deer 160 or better in one season. You kinda blew it off to luck. I dont know anyone that lucky, a 200 incher one season, and 4 160 or better in another. Unless you gotta a leprechaun in your pocket I think someone needs to call you out into a discussion of your tactics.
I would do it, but dont think I am qualified to properly draw it out. Maybe Spysar, JRM, Bucky, Muddy, Stanley, Ninja, Dor, maybe Dan, ..... Ah heck I have just finished a pot of coffee and still have over an hour before I leave for Detroit. I will do it

That's awesome!
I had someone give me pics of a deer I killed, a year later. It's cool to have them.

A buck will see you three times, and hear you twice, but he's only gonna smell you once.
