Moon charts on 8/23/11
I have not bought my moon charts yet for this year but does anyone know if there was anything going on during the 22, 23, and 24 of August?

Re: Moon charts on 8/23/11
I will be home and check mine tomorrow evening for you man. I had a few different bucks head back to bed late on the 22nd I believe. Most my deer are nocturnal but those days stood out to me too I believe. Had one buck heading back to bed around 8am and another just before 7am. My cam is set up over a salt lick on the west side of a field. The deer bed in a thick nasty clear cut to the west of the field and thats where they were headed after a quick salt lickin'. I will check the moon chart tomorrow sir.

The research I am participating in shows the 24th as being the best day for daylight movement of the days you mentioned.

Indiana, for your research were you going to post up the days or just kind of have us report our sightings and use that info?

Re: Moon charts on 8/23/11
My pics show significant movement on the 20th then again on the 25th and 26th. All small bucks but thats really all we ever have on camera anyway. There was a stretch of mainly after dark pics but the date of the 20th caught my eyes as I had two different bucks hit the salt lick on their way to bedding after sunrise one at 6:30am and one at 8am. The Murray moonguide points to the 21st as being the best day as far as I can tell.
