I have a hard time believing what any of these biologist say when It comes to aging anymore. I've saw some of their guesses I call them. Sometimes I think they draw numbers out of a hat. We send our bear teeth off as well to the Mn DNR. Some of the results we've gotten back are hilarious! I have no faith In their methods to be honest. I'm sure they hit the nail on a head here and there but I'd be willing to bet their off just as many times as their on.

Cementum Annuli is more accurate in my opinion. http://www.deerage.com I list that link for informational purposes, not as an endorsement.

Thanks Marty.
You can fool some of the bucks, all of the time, and fool all of the bucks, some of the time, however you certainly can't fool all of the bucks, all of the time.

Well It is not scientific but I can tell by the old Rump and Chest comparison as well as snout length and facial features. So far I have had great luck with this up to about 5 years old. After that I can't really tell the difference other than OLD.
God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
