Re: Hunting Vacation Schedule
I have 4 day weekends for Sept.30th and Oct. 7. Then starting Oct. 14th I am off of work until Nov. 15th. Also have 4 day weekends for gun and muzzleloader. I will be camping out in western Wis at the end of Oct. Then I will be in Iowa from Nov. 4 thru the 12th. Then back to western Wis for gun season and muzzle. I guess one good thing about getting older is more time off. And if you are wondering my wife is a saint.

Re: Hunting Vacation Schedule
Kids are grown and gone....last one to graduate from college next year. So to keep the priorities straight, I'm working on the bucketlist.
10/11-10/20 Colorado elk hunt
10/21-10/26 S. Dakota pheasant hunt
10/27-11/4 N.W. Ontario whitetail hunt
11/5-11/16 BWCA MN whitetail portage hunt
12/1-? Muzzle hunt N.E. MO or Keewaunee whitetail hunt
And to FL for some fishing and family for the holidays
Have to try to find time to squeeze in some work.....ahhhh maybe not.

Re: Hunting Vacation Schedule
I'm able to hunt a lot locally without having to take vacation. However, I will be taking vacation Nov.3-13 for a hunting trip to Ohio.

Re: Hunting Vacation Schedule
For the first time in 6 years I will not get a single day of vacation for hunting. I will have to make it happen in the woods this year with more than likely less than 40 hours of hunting spread out over 3 months. It is going to be tough!
