whats in your pack?
As season gets closer im looking more and more into how much or how little I will be bringing in the woods with me this year.
I will be leaving a lot of stuff home this year that I know I don't need, and one new edition will be a saw. Thinking about a Hooyman, anyone have one? And do you have the 6 or 10ft?
What do you guys bring in the woods with you?

GPS, strap for harness, small saw, headlamp, pull-up rope, TP, a couple small screw in hooks, and usually a bottle of water. I try to pack real light. All of it goes in a fanny pack..

I have a Hooyman, actually have broke two. Wicked Tree Saws look good that Todd from White Knuckle Productions has developed and is selling. I wish Todd had an extension for the Wicked Saws.

Try Kwik-Straps http://www.kwik-strap.com/StrapNSaw.html
You can buy the staps separately.
I just ordered some for my Assault and sticks.

Re: whats in your pack?
Wow reading this makes me feel like I should be on a show called Hoarders "Hunting Edition".
Camera bag- video camera
batteries, tapes, and mics
Back pack- camera arm or tripod
headphones
clothes
water
knife
flashlight
Gps (sometimes)
rope
Bow hanger
Small bottle of Scent Killer I know, I know
spotting scope
screw in peg (for camera arm)
release
Hooyman saw 6fter.
Also Including my lonewolf climber, bow w/ quiver of arrows, and sometimes gorrilla sticks.
I had one hooyman saw break. I don't know If I like how flimsy it is. But its got be by in a lot of situations. I have one and use it better than anything else seeing as though it is so compact for how long it can extend.

Re: whats in your pack?
Im looking for a new pack, something on the smaller side but still with support.
Either a fanny pack style with the shoulder strap, or a smaller back pack but with a kidney belt. Any suggestions?

Re: whats in your pack?
I like my Blacks Creek lumbar pack.
As the season progresses and I bring more stuff to stay warm I add some trophyline bags to the waist belt so they hang at my sides.
