so all in all wheat sucks. :cry:


Its not on my wish list for deer. I just looked at a corner of a cut wheat field by me, tons of grain on the ground. I will see more geese then anything using these fields this time of year.

In the fall and winter it doesn't but spring and summer yes when they don't two crop it.

I don't have time for bird hunting. Got all my efforts towards the deer. JRM so you think they will actually plant another crop come fall when they cut it?

They may...just depends on what they are going to do with the field next year.Might make it clover for hay. If you can find out who farms it give them a call or stop by and talk to them. Worth a shot.
