Stands
What kind of stands or blind is everyone using this year?
Personally Ive got 9 Lone wolfs with 3 sets of 4 sticks, 2 Milenium hang ons, Double Bull pop up, and a Blind Ambitions Portable that I can wait to try this year.

Re: Stands
I have a Lone Wolf Assault, two sets of Lone Wolf sticks, Summit Viper climber, Trophyline Treesaddle and a Double Bull T2 blind.
I got rid of all of my other brand of stands and narrowed it down to these.
These cover pretty much any circumstance I could ever need but last year my Assault and sticks were used probably 80% of the time. My climber gets used mostly for gun hunting now since comfort is a priority for me then for all day sits.

Re: Stands
Lone Wolf hand climber is pretty much all I use anymore. I would like to get into a Lone Wolf hangon and sticks at some point.

Re: Stands
My go to stand is my Lone Wolf Alpha hang-on with 5 sticks... I also have a Lone Wolf hand climber, but rarly use it. The Alpha hang on gets me in any tree and I often don't end up in the exact tree I intended because of the exact wind that day or sign, or because I run into hot sign on the way in... So 99% of the time the climber don't get used because I would rather hunt deer than trees... I hunt mobile and rarly hunt the same tree more than twice a season. 80% of my set ups are once a year.
I do also have an old Prototype Alpha which was the 1st one ever made, and an old sand cast origanal lone wolf stand that the new assaults mimic in shape and design. Both of those are on a private farm in observation spots.

Re: Stands
A dozen Big Game XL Boss's.
Two Loggy Predator hang on's.
API Bowhunter climber.
Six LW mini sticks.
Dozen Gorilla 32" steel sticks.
Five 20' strap on stick's.
About 150 screw in steps.
Forty treehopper drop in bolt steps.
A few other hang on's.
DB Matrix360 and T2.
Its nice to have a dozen or so hang on's set up for short AM/PM hunt's on a work day, especially early season when work is busy.

Re: Stands
4 LW sticks, Tree Saddle, LW hand climber, and Double Bull T2. Probably use the T2 a lot this year, I had a blast on the ground last year with it. I was amazed how close the deer get. I would love to get an Alpha hang on and a 5th stick but might have to wait until next year.

Re: Stands
As of right now I have:
-two Remington 17' ladders from Walmart I bought last season. One double, one single.
-One Comfort Zone Hang on my wife bought me for Christmas
-One (I have no idea) climber that is heavy as crap but quiet. I walk no more than a mile to the back of my property. I think it is like .85 miles. The weight starts getting to me at about .35.
Before season opens:
-two more hang ons (cheap ones) I can't afford the good stuff yet and all of mine are on my property I own and live on.
-One maybe two more of the Remington 17' ladder stands.
Don't give me flack about the Walmart stands. I actually like them a lot. They are lighter than some I have set up and the ones I have now have been out since opening day last season and still loook great. The ladders are a bit narrow but, they work.

Re: Stands
My standard set is the lone wolf alpha with 5 sticks. I can do anything with this set up. I feel sorry for my sixth stick. It never gets to see the action.
I also have a lone wolf sit and climb. I rarely use it as I never know I'll have a tree to accept the climber the way I hunt on public (and some private) land. . .always adjusting. I wish I bought the hand climber. I may buy the seat if the right price comes my way.
I have 3 more lone wolf hang ons. I started buying lone wolf in the early 90s. A couple gorillas and numerous cheap menard stands and ladder sticks for permanent sets on private land. Too many stands really as all I need is the lone wolf + the 5 sticks.
