One of my hunting buddies absolutely HATES when I shoot coyotes in areas we trek back into (public). He thinks it spooks the deer when I bang one... but I just can't pass em (the above are a few examples that I had stored in photobucket)
I wish I had pics of when I was 12-17yrs of age... I killed a bunch of baskets, a 3 legged buck in a cornfield stalk, spikers, nub bucks in those years. Mostly with the bow...
As far as eating what I shoot... I do 100%! My grandfather and I rarely eat beef... we almost prefer venison. Between grandpa, my uncle, brother, and another uncle we easily consume 8-10 deer a year (add in family members too). I love cleaning my own game too... there is just something about killing your own food and preparing it that I like/prefer over buying from a store
Over the years... we have gotten pretty efficient at breaking down a deer too... including clean up and wrapping it can be done in about 90mins
Sounds eerily familiar A man after my own heart. Skill or Luck some ask, proof is in the puddin SKILL. Take a bow sir much respect!!

Re: Bucky
Bucky, is there a chance these pictures will ever be restored? I've listened to your podcast with Mario a couple times the last week and I went back to check this thread out. I know a lot of guys would be interested in seeing the pictures in this thread. I know it's a pain though...

Re: Bucky
My second time checking these out.
Im definitely a bow hunter at heart. I hardly like to point out the biggest buck. But the rifle buck (2 over from the bottom, 2 up) is just awesome! Ill probably never see something like that in person, wow he is really something. I did enjoy your podcast for the HB as well. Congratulations! Bravo man!
