Zap,

Where will you be hunting? I live in Jefferson City. I might be up for a few days if you don't mind a stranger. I hunt primarily at Reform in central Missouri and have never hunted Northwest, is it Bob Brown CA?

I appreciate it Zap. I will be in touch as we get closer to that date. I will try to make it up for a couple days up there. Sounds like a good time!

Look foward to it, Nodaway is a good spot.......

It would be good to have lightweight chest wader's with you.

Nodaway county?

Small world......guess you won't need a tent.

I hunt at Nodaway CA, Andrew/Holt county border.

Is a canoe beneficial for Nodaway?

Not really, wader's will enable you to cross some deep water ditch's and part's of the marsh to minamize walking around them and also help's with recovery in the marsh and flooded cropfield's.

This is mainly a duck hunting area and they flood alot of field's and sometime's there is water in the adjacent woodlot's.

I use light stockingfoot wader's with a size bigger lightweight hiking boot, put on if needed and remove at stand site. Sometime's going thru 4' deep water in a ditch will save a 1/2 mile hike and also help you sneak in some spot's.

It's a good area with alot of deer, bring doe tag's if you like venison.

Sounds great Zap. Not sure if I will have the funds to make it as I already have other stuff planned, but I sure would like too. Do you camp where ever you want or do they have designated campsites?
You cannot invade mainland America. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.
