bedding question
this past spring on one of my scouting outing i stubbled apon this bedding area. it has been closed off to me because of land owner reasons, know i can hunt it and it looks good. i put this water hole here 5 years ago. i looked at my topo a had a good feeling it was a bedding area and found what i was looking for when i scouted it and sure enough there was two good beds. its thick but not to thick, its kind of open off the point, but real thick on top. four rubs waste high "i wish i had pics but didnt have reason to take pics, but now i do!!" I cant wait to take pics next spring! anyways, i found tracks but never thought about the finger trick. "IF" its a good buck were should i set up on this situation?

Re: bedding question
If I could get to that water hole without being heard, smelt, or seen, thats exactly where I would hunt on a hot day, or a rut day. but I would not over hunt it.
