Off season deer hunting...
Ok... Look at the picture. Its gun season, you have 3 buck tags and unbelievably the 3 bucks in the picture all walk into the opening at the same time. What order are you shooting them in? Which one dies 1st? 2nd? and last? and why?

Re: Off season deer hunting...
Never seen one like that, let alone all 3. I slap myself, then again thinking Im dreaming and they all turn tail and run. But since this is a hypothetical Id shoot them in this order.
#2 he has nice mass and width.
#3 Like the long tines
#1 cant tell from this angle if its an 8 or a 10, but I figured 8 and shot him last.
Either way guess I tagged out.

2, 3, 1, in that order. I think 1 might score more than 3 though....Overall frame size is how I picked.
A buck will see you three times, and hear you twice, but he's only gonna smell you once.

Same order 2,3,1
Put them in the order I found them to be most appealing

I'll agree with the others and say 2,3,1.. although 1 probably scores the best, I like the look of the others better..
What about you Dan?

Not to mention the body on 2 looks to be about 400lbs..

Re: Off season deer hunting...
Interesting hypothetical....Guess most would look for the best scoring buck.
All are shooters....would take the best shot for a clean kill, wouldn't have to shoot them all, the hunt would be over.

(2) first because he is looking right at you and don't want him to run if you pick another to shoot.
After he drops I'm getting out of the tree......hard enough draging one of those big suckers out of the woods without having the big one. Save the other two for my kid some day.....

Re: Off season deer hunting...
I would shoot 2,3, and then 1 given their frame sizes.

Re: Off season deer hunting...
# 2 first, looks most mature with width and mass
I might shoot a 2nd (#3) buck if in the CWD zone with an extra tag. Otherwise shooting multiple bucks, although they are all slobs, would seem kinda greedy to me.
I wouldn't shoot an extra buck like that and ask my buddy for his tag...

What about you Dan?
2-3-1 Is the answer I was expecting...
However, score wise highest to lowest would be:
#1 ( 180's NT 15 Point )
#2 ( 160's typ. 9 point )
#3 ( 140's typ. 8 point )
Age wise my best guess would be
#1- 5 y/o
#2- 6 y/o
#3- 4 y/o
Anybody wanna change there mind?
My picks are biased, but would be:
#2
#1
#3

2
3
1
And I might actually consider 3 before 2 just because I like his tine length, also both those bucks look older than #1 to me and score isn't as important to me as age.

^^^What Spy said^^^
2,3,1 was my oringal pick but after reading what Dan said and assuming I got a better look or angle at #1 Id go 2,1,3.
