Map sites and stand locations

I just picked up a new piece of ground in some serious Hill country and so far its kicking my on where to hunt and locations.... I have some great spots I found during shed season but what site are you guys using to post map pics to get others inputs? Id like to see what other think off topo and aerial photos.

Yellow dots were buck beds found during shed season, and the green blob is a food plot just planted in Beans, Clover, and turnips.

Go to mytopo.com and go through their whole process, they want to sell you a map but there is a great preview at the end that you can click on to view a large version of your map. Make sure to select the hybrid topo/aerial map - they have a great topo overlay of your selected aerial photo.

Yea! Thanks a ton.... Im only used to hunting farmland bucks on fairly flat terrain so this is a huge shock to my hunting techniques and why not ask before ruining a good thing. Thanks again Dan!

Ruttin... I was looking at your food plot mark and saw that it appears to be in a valley surrounded by wooded hills.
If this is the case, I would think thats a poor choice of location. My reason is that the plot is perfect for the deer but not for the hunter. I am not a fan of putting plots in "hunting" spots but rather away from them and more used to draw a deer a certain direction and the kill spot being at locations closer to bedding between food and bed.
That spot is not a hunting spot because thermals will pull your scent up those hills to the deer so you cant get near the plot, and you the deer can bed the hill tops surrounding the plot and enter it to feed and stage with thermal advantage.
Basically there is not much of a way to kill the deer utilizing that plot.

Dan, Yea i was noticing that alot after looking at your bedding locations. The plot was more or less to pull deer into the area where I have the easiest access to. If i can get the deer to eat in the plots at night and then catch then going back to their beddings away from that location was more the goal. The is a amazing saddle just north of the two ponds in the middle by the county line that is where alot of these deer travel too. Alot of does bed around the plot but all the mature buck sign was on the north of the two lakes. Theres no way to slip in easy except the route I have, i cross a small creek, drive my electric golf cart past the first lake and walk right between both lakes right into the middle of that draw! Its a perfect saddle with alot of movement.

I def appreciate the straight up honesty on this site! It became very aware that plot was not going to be a killing spot but more a destination plot to draw them west of their bedding so that I can slip in to the SE, since we mainly have West, SW winds here.
