How many arrow's do you take with you ? ( poll )

I carry 5 but only because that is what my quiver holds. The quiver I used to have on the old Mathews Drenalin held 3 and I never needed them. I usually try and have one critter arrow you know squirrels, coons, or coyotes.

I voted for 4, although my tightspot will fit 5....I usually take 4 when i trek back far into the public swamps, but only take 3 when i'm hunting around my parents house, or short walks

3, I feel if I can't be content with what i have killed after shooting 3, I might as well plop my but down on a bar stool and wait for a better day.

I carry six with the detatchable quickie quiver on my compound, which I hang on the tree. I don't think I have ever used them all but have shot 4 or 5 several times.

I carry 5 on my recurve because the Selway quiver only holds 5.

When I had a six arrow quiver, I carried six. Now I have a 5, and I carry 5. And I've used them all a couple of times...

4 I use a 4 arrow quickie Kwiver

Same here. Quiver is taken off at the tree. (3) good arrows and (1) flyer for practice shots and drilling unwanted small critters.

Same with me. 3 Good and 1 with a field point. On morning hunts, I will pick a different colored leaf or an open spot on the ground and before I climb down after the hunt, I will shoot the field tipped arrow at that leaf. It does wonders for your confidence just to "be sure" that nothing has changed in your setup and you can't get any better practice. You're in your tree, wearing the clothes you hunt in, waiting for Mr. Big. Just make sure you remember to pick up your arrow after you get down and get your stand packed up.

I carry as many that can fit in my quiver. You never know what is going to happen and a few extra arrows isn't going to be noisy or add that much more weight.

I don't ever want to be sitting in a tree with my target buck under me alive and no arrows left... I don't think it is any harder to bring a full quiver vs one with only a few arrows... No matter how good you are, or think you are, things happen.

3 is not enough. I Carried 3 one year and ran out, never again. On the way to the stand I got a crack at a nice buck (it happens). Down to 2, In the stand a yote come by and I arrow it. Down to one, I arrow a nice buck and he beds down 30 yards away and I have no arrows. Buck got up and walked off. Sitting there like a dummy with no arrows and a wounded buck. I carry six and have actually ran out shooting at turkeys once and at a buck I snuck up on sequestered with a doe. Be prepared, Semper Paratus.

5 Here, Thats what my quiver holds so thats what I put in it. You never know, if a coyote, a doe and a buck come up thats 3 arrows there, might as well have a full quiver. When you don't need them, you have them, the day you don't have them, thats when you'll need them.
