Old enough to be shot. Shootem and pull his tooth and send it to the lab. Ok, I'll stop there

If he's a 5x5 I'd say high 150's. That 2nd picture is at one of the most deceiving angles you can get on a deer. Here's a buck I was after a few years ago... velvet he looked huge.
Image

When he got into hard horn I got this picture I got really excited...

Neighbor killed him, he pushed 130 and I held the rack. Velvet is deceiving, easily adds 10-20 inches in some cases.

As muddy stated, the angle is very deceiving..and also, that one side only has three tines (including the brow), and that G4 on his left isnt that long, so he's basically an 8 with not much for brows, so I guess I can see 130s once you break it all down...he just looks much bigger at first glance!

I would say in the pic he's a 4 year old.
He is tall, long, and has a big old tank!!

Score wise I say 170 is on the high side.
I came up with 163 2/8

kill him this fall and then you can tell us who's the closest!!

Just my 2 cents!!

I am not trying to hijack your thread by any means but here's the same buck I pictured, except head on. In my opinion you can rarely get close to a score in velvet unless he is head on and somewhat close. Not even ear wide, nothing longer than 8 inches or so, he was 130 give or take a couple inches.
