How was pressure this year?
How was the pressure on the public land you hunted this year? Were you able to find spots where people weren't and have quality hunting?
This is just a general question looking to see others experiences from this year.

Not as bad as last couple years. I noticed it in the way deer moved also.

Pressure was highest I’ve seen in years but was still able to kill a decent buck. Ran into more people in parking lots than ever. I met some nice people and one fellow beast

One of our favorite spots started requiring CWD testing of deer taken in that county. Pressured was way down

Hurricanes reduced the overall hunt pressure but we had folks or marked stand spots in the areas we hunted.
Shot a small buck on day 2 of the 3 day quota hunt.

It’s been a bit weird this year. There has been considerable pressure during archery season but not as much during the gun seasons. Not sure where all of the gun hunters went

Re: How was pressure this year?
I wasn't able to hunt as much this year as previous years and I still seen more pressure. Mostly bow season. Talked to a few guys where I parked which usually doesn't happen. Wasn't able to take any of my targets but got some meat for the freezer.

SW Wisconsin public was insane during bow season. Spots I had never seen a person in before had people in them consistently. Not sure if this is just a fluke or a cyclical thing, but it has definitely go me looking at different places.

Re: How was pressure this year?
Found more stands and cameras in the woods than I normally do.
Still have several places where I see no human presence and have been successful year after year.

Re: How was pressure this year?
Bow pressure was about what it normally is. Pretty heavy opening week then basically no one after. Gun season was still pretty intense but with some of the colder days we had I noticed less people out than last year. Minnesota by the way. Late season I have not seen another hunter yet.

Re: How was pressure this year?
I heard relentless rifle shots all season no matter where I went. I think my briar patch hardly anyone else hunts will be my ticket next year because if all that shooting was killing the deer around here took a beating.
It's all fun and games till someone looses an eye..... then its just fun

Re: How was pressure this year?
Since PA is the absolute worst state in the country to hunt deer on public land, there was very little pressure. Nobody should ever come here to hunt. Nothing but does and spike bucks.
