Very impressive wall there. My unlce hunts the U.P. close to Manistique. He says is sooo different than hunting our farmland and harder.

That deer was shot during gun season, it is a 6x6 typical with split G2's making it a 14 point...way northern buck up by L'anse. Lucky fella, right spot at the right time :D

Manistique is a nice town, I hunt about 1 1/2-2 hours NW of there. It has almost no similarities to farm land hunting, it is huge timber/swamp with not many feed sources to key on. that part of the state has nothing for oak trees/soft mast...it is a far different hunt for sure.
