Grid hunting

Unread postby Brokenarrow1980 » Wed Sep 21, 2022 2:03 pm

My season opens on October 1st and I'm going to try out a new property. This particular property has a 3 acre posted section that is a thick southern slope that would be great bedding I assume, I haven't been in there. My question is after I hit overlooked areas such as road crossings do I waste time grid hunting it or just try to pick up a hot doe coming out of that private bedding. There are other bedding areas on the property but I assume pressure will drive them Into posted. It is difficult for me to get to areas to hunt as well so would I be better served hunting elsewhere. The property in question is about 250 acres in size.

It's all fun and games till someone looses an eye..... then its just fun
