"Wall of Shame" at the Madison Deer and turkey show ?

Unread postby dreaming bucks » Tue Apr 05, 2011 2:08 am

Does anybody have a picture of the Wall of shame at the Deer show ? I wish I would've picked up a sheet on the deer at this display. I was trying to explain to guy I work with how big that buck was that the DNR had right up front. That thing was a monster... If anybody has a pic, could you please post it, or maybe there is a website that I could find it, but so far, no luck..... :(

That picture of the rack really doesn't do it justice for how big it looked at the show....... They had it shoulder mounted... when your standing right in front of it, it is just a SLOB !

What an awesome buck!!!!!! Too bad what some people will do for the pursuit of antlers. Does anyone really believe they can pull off what these 2 guys did? Hope they now think it was worth it. Glad they got caught and the book thrown at them!!!!!

This buck was poached very close to where I do most of my hunting!

Really sucks these morons had to take this deer away from an honest hunter. That buck was up on the main "Wall Of Shame" last year but looked way bigger this year up front on the floor!!

It would be my hopes that all of the "poachers" get nabbed...they degrade the pursuit of trophy whitetails.

Glad they got the poachers. This stuff happens alot where I live which is too bad people just get too greedy. One guy from my hometown had one of the top Typical bucks taken with gun in the county at 173 inches but found out it was killed the night before gun season started.

It was interesting to note in the article that the buck was aged at 4.5 years old. Who knows what he would have looked like next year or two years from that.
