Lone Wolf Tips or Tricks??

Unread postby kwaldeier » Sat Apr 02, 2011 1:14 pm

I just got my Lone Wolf Alpha stand and 3 sticks in today. Just looking for some tricks or tips to help with easier set up? I had a semi-idea to quiet down the bungee cord hooks, just not sure how! I am looking to get about 15 or so feet up. Also is it right that if i want my stand on the left side of the sticks, with 3 of them to put the first step needs to be on the right and alternate?

Looks to me like you got the Chinese stand. I would send it back and take Dan up on his offer if it's still available.

If you still have the box and the recite I would take it back to the place you bought it or call Lone Wolf for a refund...call to see.
Lone wolf tree stands came back to the usa this year and has a 2011 products on their site if you click the words you will see it.
If you have a parallel limb bow the new stand will hold your bow. Also you could buy the one off dan or wait to buy a new one on the BEAST store.

When they brought them back into the USA they made some changes. Notice the changes they point out in this pic (like the bow holder).

I meant if he is going to have a Chinese stand he might as well get the deal from Dan.

That looks like a pre-chinese stand to me. Obviously its not a 2011 stand because of the bow holder, but I think its an older american one. The casting is way too smooth and dull colored to be chinese. All the chinese ones I have seen are somewhat shiny and more of a silver color..

The american sticks have some shine to them as well, and they were/are that same goldish color. The chinese sticks are a much more silver color.
