I'm really thinking so too. If so that's 2 great 2.5's that died last year. The other was a 115 Inch 8 point that got poped during the gun season. Man Is this frustrating but so much the norm In my area almost every year.Public Land Beast wrote:I think he was just 2.5 last year!! Sucks man!!

Re: Damn!
It's hard to tell the age, but I'm leaning toward a 3.5 year old that was a runt as a yearling. Maybe a late born buck that had just about caught up. He probably would have made a big jump next year.
You cannot invade mainland America. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.

Re: Damn!
That is a shame, but it is cool to have the head with all the picture history with him. I would say a stud 2.5 year old personally not 3.5

I would say 2.5 when he died as well. At least you were able to find him.

Re: Damn!
Nice buck and he sure wasnt camera shy. How big is your property? That is a bummer for sure, and a common problem we have with neighbors that own field that borders us. I would say 90% of their gun shots are running deer, and we find a deer or two now and again in our woods.
