New Video. What was do you think this buck was doing?

Uploaded new video and added to my other thread. Figured I would just start a new thread for this one.

Take a look and let me know what you think buck is doing in the video.

Mainly just trying to work in filming and editing skills while I go out in the woods from time to time.

Cool video! Always love seeing pictures of big animals and good rubs in the woods.

Not sure what that buck was up to. I’d think if he was sick he would have dropped his antlers by then. Maybe he hears voices in his head like I do sometimes in the woods.

What was he doing? Maybe ate some fermented berries or funky mushrooms? Any local yerba planted nearby?

Seriously, I've seen fawns play goofy like that. Horses too. Maybe just clowning around? Maybe they do that more than we think...

Thanks...constructive criticism is always welcome and invited.

It came through loud and clear on my speakers on my computer...I think I need to account for people watching on their phones where the speaker quality isn't as good. I also forgot my rode mic on that trip as well so that didn't help.

I agree on those bucks. Real nice. People up in the corn fed states might not look twice at those, but you got a whole different whitetail world down there.

I don't have any reasonable explanation for that other than he was just playing. He looked pretty young. Maybe he just has a hint of goofiness left in him that hasn't been scared out by hunting season yet.

edit: I sent your video link over to the folks at the University of florida deer Lab to see if they had any intel on this kind of thing. Might be interesting to see what the researchers know that we could learn something from.
