Getting that urge for season.
With all the crazy political mess going on. I'm really looking forward to deer season. I know kentucky is still 13 weeks away. Looking forward to focusing on nature.
I haven't scouted much.
Have sadly spent alot of time in these 4 walls due to fuel cost.

Right there with you. Vacation is locked in, and my wife is getting weekly reminders on her calendar.

Yep, as soon as turkey season ended I switched to deer hunting. Hung 5 cameras last week…can’t wait for season.
Some do. Some don't. I just might...

I’ve been going fishing. Will get back into the deer late June early July to hang some trail cams and start glassing velvet bucks. I’ve been shooting my bow once or twice a week

I'm kinda feeling urge too. It's 72 and cloudy here today. Low tonight 57. Also saw 2 bucks on side of interstate Tuesday.
I'm reason they call it hunting and not shooting.

Can’t wait! I definitely need to start shooting more!

Not feeling much urge yet. This triple digit heat sucks most of the zest out of life for me. Good news is I know myself really well so I get all my stuff done b4 the heat moves in. First part of September I start getting the itch.

Re: Getting that urge for season.
I'm really with Boogie, we aren't that hot...but the temps and humidity are a rising. Aside from that, ticks are on super high, and copperheads are just starting to stretch their legs... Thinking about maybe some fishing and golf in the months to come.
I am seeing deer more and more, and caught a peek at my first velvet of the year, last week! So that is exciting. I just purchased my first set of big boy glass for checking out the fields this year, so can't wait till they start showing up out there on the regular.

I haven't stopped scouting since the season ended. Put in 10.5 miles yesterday
