So I have been toying around with filming hunts for a little while. I went back and forth on it alot. I have always loved the idea of it but up until recently couldn't really afford the gear needed to start doing so.

I tried filming about 10 or 15 years ago with like little cheap action cams on my bow or phone holders but ended up missing a few opportunities because of it and kind of decided then that I would wait until I had more experience under and success under my belt....at least at killing some decent public bucks.

Last season I finally bought some gear and took it a little more serious but not as serious as I could have...it is a lot of gear and a big commitment to lug that stuff around every hunt. I told myself that i would make hunting and the shot priority and filming second. I would take the gear on some easier sits but not the harder ones and so on. So I didn't get a lot of footage.

I think this year I am going to try and take it more serious and start bringing the camera on every hunt I can. It is a blast to do and being able to look back at the memory will be and is awesome. Initially I was not going to make my videos public but figured I would give it a try.

Tell me what you think. I am open to feedback. My son did most the editing. I know I need to work on the wind noise some and little more footage and less talking. Hoping it can only get better.

Thanks buddy. I hope that is true....seems they come when I don't have the camera gear....got lucky this time. Gonna try to take the gear out with me as much as I can this year...gets rough carrying it in 100 degree heat in 95% humidity way back in swamp...just got to tell myself it is worth it. Haha

Shot.. it was broken and had a hole completely through about it about half way down the leg and just above the knee.
