I'm thinking about getting a better app for hunting & I'm curious what you guys think. I like the MyTrails app I have had for years. It doesn't cost me anything like some of the subscription based app's but I'm thinking about getting something a little more versatile & maybe even paying for one with land owner information.
The only one I'm for sure not interested in is OnX because their maps don't seem to be near as clear as others like Base Map & Hunt Stand. Plus OnX is $100 vs $30 for the same landowner information on other apps like Hunt Stand.
Right now I'm leaning toward Hunt Stand but want to know what you guys think.

You cannot invade mainland America. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.

OnX, BaseMap, or HuntStand for property lines and land owners
Windy for wind direction
Weather Underground webpage (not app) saved on phone homescreen for weather (and wind direction and predicted wind direction, temperature, pressure, precipitation, etc.)
CalTopo for topography

OnX for public property lines/info.
BaseMap for aerials and 3D(no idea why more people don’t talk about 3D but it’s very important to me for any place that has topography.)
Both are fine for private property lines and landowner info.
No experience with HuntStand.

Re: Suggestions on the best hunting app
For landowners I have OnX and BaseMap. I'm used to OnX (I just have my state) so that's what I use mostly but it's fun to use BaseMap to look at the big farms in Iowa (Drury, Lakosky, D'acquisto, Lindsey, Winke, etc.)

If you are only needing your state for Onx, it is only $30 per year.
