2-3 deer a year through the kitchen aid. Works great! If I was doing more than one deer at a time I might want something bigger. I save out the loin sirloin and top round grind the rest. It grinds faster than i can trim it (i don't trim much). I will note my kitchen aid is the heavy duty plus model, absolutely no complaints yet.

I used the kitchen aid for a couple of years and then it broke. I ended up buying a Cabelas pro series brand grinder and it works great.
