Found Him….a month to late
Got a call from the neighbor wondering if we recognized this deer that he had found. I drove over after work and sure enough as soon as I layed my eyes on him, I knew it was exaclty the deer I had shot 5 weeks ago. I asked my neighbor where the carcass was to see if I could identify what had happened to the deer. There wasn’t much to identify left. I did find what was left to my arrow and broadlead laying in the carcass. It is nice knowing what happened to him but it is unfortunate that I couldn’t recover this deer when I first shot him.

Better late than never.
I have a buck out there somewhere we couldn’t find. Hoping one day to come across him.
