I just finished a five and half hour drive back to work, thought about putting my truck in the ditch several times, just so I could go home and hunt more lmao.

I got a back up truck for hunting  :D

This is me every day, especially with my rut vacation only a week away.

Also looks like a a very nice cold front incoming at the end of the week.

Staring outside the factory garage doors and pacing like a caged zoo animal.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one. As the days go by I'm pretty much only good for wind direction, weather forecast, cyber scouting, scouting, hunting, and planning my next move.

Yep coworkers are concerned about me. I stare at maps and weather all day and sometimes wave my hand across my phone or computer screen imitating wind direction.

I cyber scouted a couple times today. Sent a couple “how old do you think this buck is” pics to TBunao and Seaz, checked the weather twice even though I can’t hunt for several days, sent a couple bedding pins to a young guy who is struggling to get on deer, texted about deer to a couple friends, started a deer thread on the Beast, now I’llgo home and hang with the fam for a while then after the kids are in bed I’ll check to see if THP uploaded any new videos. Oh and I’m also adding journal entries and details I didn’t have time for, WHEN I get time. Along with reviewing past trail cam photos to keep everything fresh in my mind.

2 more weeks of this until my rut vacation. All I can say is hopefully the wife is doing ok with these two a week outings. Cuz I’m about to be pretty absent

I have just been thumbing through pics of a buck I likely won’t kill…

I honestly might not check cams in season in the future because of the mental retardation attached to a good card pull
