I like it. One thing I’m going more towards as I get cheaper, is using my everyday clothing as hunting clothing. I just have a couple nice outer layers and wear regular clothing under it. I wear the same camo pants all year and just layer as needed. When it’s cold, I bust out the iwom. Wear the same camo hoodie or jacket all season as well. If it’s super hot I have a camo shirt.

Not sure if that helps but when I go on my weekend hunts, I usually only have 2-3 pieces of camo. The rest is clothes I can wear scouting, hunting, at camp, at the bar or on my drive home.

Also for rain gear, bibs instead of pants. Bibs are the greatest invention next to duct tape and canned beer. Huge improvement staying dry and warm using bibs instead of pants.

Don’t forget a bow repair kit/toolbox and a small target.

Saved me many times. Not good when your primary bow has issues when on the road hunting with no bow shop within reasonable distance. You need to be proficient at making all repairs. Bringing an extra bow is an option but takes a lot of extra space.

I like to keep a small target in my truck so I can shoot an arrow each day to make sure my bow is still on after getting banged around after each hunt.

I think a compass would be good to pack just in case the phone fails and assuming your using a hunting app like OnX or HuntStand.
