Warm days in October
With limited time to hunt, I have to choose my time wisely. Obviously we all love cold fronts. What are y’all’s experiences with movement on warmer than average days in early October?

They move, get out and hunt.
If you’re near a stream or pond even better, good luck.

For me I want to start off on the food source. See what happens then move closer to suspected bedding. A food source does not have to be acorns either. It can simply be a patch of beauty berry here where I hunt. Just went scout 2 bedding areas a week ago and plan to hunt them October 9 we were checking a trail cam to and we got pictures of nice daytime bucks. But it’s just a mental game and do whatever it takes for you to feel like you are in the game everyone’s different.
