Florida swamps - which dvd?
Hey guys I live and hunt in Florida. Very flat, very wet, and very thick swamps. Wondering if the swamp bedding dvd or the marsh bedding dvd would be more relevant to me. Thanks.

Also pay attention to the big woods stuff. Parts of it apply heavily to Florida style swamp/marsh lands. I would agree with Dan the swamp dvd applied more then the marsh dvd although I’ve gotten a lot out of all of Dan’s DVDs. You just have to figure out how it applies to the specific ground you are hunting in FL.

I heard a story recently about a decent FL buck being killed some 20 years ago
Dude scouted it, new where he was probably bedding, moving etc.
He set up and killed it.
Anyways he's telling this story and just doing a fine job on the imagery and descriptions, laying out the terrain, location etc.
I'm listening and said to myself:
"I'll be damn, big deer in FL act just like big deer in Wisconsin (or MI or KY etc)"
Everything the guy was saying was all the stuff I heard on dans podcast, youtube video's, the forum etc
Heavy thick wet swamps, thick palmettos and scrub oak, doesn't matter really, they all need and find similiar bedding/safety that gives them the security etc they need to survive.

Re: Florida swamps - which dvd?
I agree w Tuff - big woods and swamp.
What I envision as a swamp down here has no cattails, it is a cypress swamp - standing water with islands and lotsa cypress knees to trip you up.
Another sorta swamp is sawgrass and palmetto flats - what I hate is that the deer will bed out in the middle.
River flood plains.... flag ponds... treat em more like a Wisconsin swamp.
I'll take some photos once I get scouting in a couple of weeks.
