Where's Everyone Hunting This Fall?

Unread postby Spysar » Sun Mar 14, 2010 12:34 pm

Just wondering who has out of state hunts planned for this year? I'm going to my usual spots in SD, and Nebraska. I'd also like to hunt Ohio or Iowa too. I have four preferance points in Iowa, but they are getting crazy with their licence and PP fees. If I hunt Iowa it might be the last time in my life, I don't want to waste the points I have thus far. I might hunt Massachusetts, and of course my home state of NY.

A buck will see you three times, and hear you twice, but he's only gonna smell you once.

I am in the same boat as Spysar with IA...its just getting out of hand for Whitetail tag. I will go one more time and that will be it I think. Gonna go next year I think though.

As usual I will hunt public ground in KS and MN (some private in MN too) for whitetail.

I was also lucky enough to draw a unit 14 WY elk tag with my Max points (14% draw odds)I am also with Max Muley points so I will burn those too and be hunting ELK and Muleys in WY with the bow 9-11 to 9-23ish.

Should be a great year!!!

Oconto,Marinette, Brown,Waupaca, and Grant co. WI for me. Work has been slow and money tight with two little kids so I'll be staying here this year. Plus I got a bear tag so that eats up a lot of time!
