Game on.

Unread postby muddy » Fri Nov 06, 2020 1:07 pm

Take a breath people. It's deer season. Get off your phones and go climb a tree.

Yes, it's THAT easy.

Good luck, may your arrows fly straight, and hopefully that tag get filled. All I know is that I am only looking at the deer and kill zone forums, don't need the excess BS in my life.

Man you got that right. Time to be in the woods at the best time of year waiting for the big boy to show up. Woods are beautiful right now and life is good. That other stuff will eat you up if you let it.

Good luck and be safe

Good luck Muddy. At least you won’t get cold the first few days. Been a cooker in the hills by early afternoon this week. Feels like September but the bucks are still moving looking for love. Cool mornings have been best lately. Surprisingly the biggest bucks I got on cam were during the hottest part of the day. :o

I feed the deer in my back yard just because I like watching them but also I feel like it gives me a clue as to how the local herd is moving. I have had 2 pictures in the last 10 days of deer in daylight. Crazy! Prior to the full moon, they would be out there 3-4 times a day and every morning and evening the first and last half hour of daylight. I don't know if it was the moon and then leaves falling and cover disappearing or what but they are just not coming out in daylight much. My brother has hunted every day this week, bouncing around to different places and hasn't seen one deer...in some of the spots, 2-3 weeks prior he was seeing double digit deer....so many that he got picky on shooting a doe.

I got it as a gift and to be honest it's pretty good. I wish they had whole bean because I like the "oily goodness" of a fresh ground joe out of my stainless press.
