Hot Weather and Cool Drainages

Have you guys noticed if deer spend more time in, or relocate to, lower areas such as drainages when you get hot weather during day time hours? Especially at this time of year when it's supposed to be cooler. Or do the thermals and wind always dictate where they bed?
