Great buck, recovery and story. I love it how a buck can shake up a man, even hunters like Dave and Dan with a ton of experience.

Very, very happy for Dave. He plugs away and never complains even though he’s got more than his share to complain about.

Probably the last hunting video I’ll watch for a while. Can’t get any better than that! :clap:

Congrats Dave, great buck! And really nice tribute Dan to Dave & your friendship. It's so cool to see how you guy's seemed to be genuinely more excited for one another to get a buck than to get one yourself. What a blessing to have a friendship like that. I have a lot of respect and admiration for you both. Congrats again!

I had to take a mid-day break on stand to watch this. :D

This is the best news I heard in a long time. Awesome buck and even better with all the history. :clap:

Dave deserved that buck and so cool how it all worked out. I can’t imagine a better ending to that chase after all those years. 8-)

Very sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. What a bittersweet ending. :cry:
