Was hoping someone would start it, but let it begin!
Maybe a report, time, location etc.

Re: Rut 2020
Was hoping you had some info. Well I have been out 3 times since last friday, 4 if you count going for a walk to look for my broadhead (found it). I saw two little scrapes, no rubs, and haven't seen a deer while hunting since 10/11. So nothing going on here. Location in profile

Re: Rut 2020
GA - nice 8 pt buck chasing doe w yearlings, lotsa grunting, on Oct 17 - as told by a lady I work with.
Where I hunt in GA, the bucks are rubbing and scraping up a storm. This is the time of year for the buck movement - starts this weekend and will continue for 2 weeks. Exactly what happens every year - weather may influence daytime movement but it is happening. Can't wait to get up there.

Re: Rut 2020
My dad got one this past weekend. He was checking does. Been seeing that shining as well. Doesnt seem like they are in full rut but they are prepping for it. Scrapes are being opened up as well.

Saw some chasing 30 minutes before close a week ago. Small buck.

Re: Rut 2020
In western NY, had a nice cold front roll through and on Saturday AM I saw a small buck chasing does around but that's about it. Saw a few scrapes and a lot of rubs. Seems like it's about to pick up pretty soon, but we're not quite there yet.
