Re: Pennsylvania public land challenge!
Great to see these guys hunting the PA big woods in the public land challenge. I thought they would seek out some swamp or marsh land though there's not a lot to be found, but I'm really pumped to see how they approach the big woods environment. Saw the second video just dropped on YouTube but haven't watched yet.

Loved the humor from Dan and Joe on day 2. Like to see Joe throwing some jabs back at Dan. “There’s a bear in there. Oh nope, just Dan”. Tim seems to be dialing in on them. Good luck!

My buddy loves watching this show with me. He's glued every time he sees a deer.

I heard Dan say, "There seems to be pockets of where the deer are." Thats hunting the northeast mang!

I grew up in pa and can tell the area they are in. Big woods up there. All the bucks I killed out there was from finding the hot stuff like Zach is doing. They love those cut overs near the upper 1/3 elevation. He sticks it out and he will kill one. Glad to see them finally come to pa!

Hunting beast guys getting on a lot of bucks, that’s pretty amazing for just stepping on new public land, hopefully some on can put one down!

If there is one sentence that can encapsulate big woods hunting, this is it, but to refine it, there are pockets of deer and there are pockets of deer where you might find the deer you are looking for.
These guys are shooting at basket racks because they know what they're up against. When you have to search through a haystack you don't have time to look for a needle. Going outside the midwest has really exposed the scope of the haystack.
