I did some scouting over the weekend and found very well used buck beds, 5/6 of them some were just matted leaves (thinking satellite bucks) and 3 were dirt, with rubs in the bed.
I’ve attached a picture the corn in N the field to the south is beans. Both are already harvested. Blue circle is area of beds. Yellow lines are rub lines. And the small red dot on field edge is an oak that’s heavily fed at.
The valley these are in is very narrow and very steep. I’m worried about being silhouetted upon approaching above.
How would you go about getting into range in this type of area?
I can access from all sides, which helps.
