You were also on Wired to Hunt a couple days ago.

It was an October Lull podcast mashup from about 8 different guys from historical podcast recordings spliced together. Worth a listen.

Awesome stuff! Thanks Dan! I’ve been guilty of hunting random scrapes. I got first turned on to The Beast through the Wired to Hunt podcast here a few weeks ago. Since then I’ve been listening to and watching everything you’ve put out I can get my hands on. Have learned a ton. I’ve started to ask “why” a lot more while scouting/hunting.

Do you approach hunting scrapes on farmland where bedding can be more variable vs marsh or hill country?

Also, any difference in small under 100 acre woodlots vs larger properties?

Not sure I understand your comment about the difference between bedding on farms vs marsh? However, the approach is the same, I need assurance the scrape is in an area where deer move in daylight,

I have gotten the impression that bucks in marshes tend to bed more in the same places whereas on farm areas they bed in more of a random fashion or not always in the same area daily.
