Found a vine on a tree that was loaded with these fruits. Looking it up myself, it might be a passion fruit vine? I think this might be odd for Northwest Georgia though.
Can anyone verify this or tell me what this might be? Also what I am really wondering is if deer eat this?

It looks similar to passion fruit or Maypop.
