Beast stick flex?

Unread postby wolfie729 » Mon Sep 28, 2020 7:39 pm

Got my beast sticks just before my wyoming trip they work great like them so far. This Michigan season will be the real test. But they seem to flex when you transfer weight from one side of the top step to the other. Is this normal or do I have something assembled wrong? Its minor but I am just asking. Also the trip was a success. Shot a 123” 8 not sure how to upload the photo seems photobucket won’t let me copy the url link.

You can upload directly to the site now without photobucket by clicking on "Attachmants" below the box you post your comments in, and then clicking add files... When you say "flex" how do you mean? or exactly where?

Mine don’t flex.

But here’s how you upload a photo:
1. Go to the Attachments tab below the text dialogue box that you type in on a new post/reply.
2. Click Add Files.
3. Pick the file(s) you want to upload.
4. Click Place Inline after they upload.
5. Hit Submit.
6. Enjoy the pics!

And congrats on the buck!

dan thanks for the response. its in the middle of the step if I am on the top step and transfer weight from my my left foot to my right I could feel the stick flexing so I looked down and I could see the sq tubing flexing each direction depending on what foot had the weight. I am not a overly big guy 6’1” 210lbs.

is the step moving, or is the stick bending slightly and then bending back?

Sounds to me like you had too much pressure on the lower antler bracket. That thing really shouldn't be carrying any weight. All the weight should be carried by the strap. Dan has a video showing how these should be set on a tree give that a quick look, that should eliminate the issue. Good luck (actually that picture shows you don't need luck!).
