move quickly by, or slow
If I were to target this suspected bed, transition to North is ~60 yards away, point to south is ~80
Tall, dry grassland in main central area - about 3-4 ft tall. You will stick out like a sore thumb walking through it.
If I park to the west, would I worry about bumping them if I cruise faster through the grasses nearer the southern point, then j hook back to cover on the north side - I would assume if I were moving stealthier that they would see that as predatory and spook.
Thoughts?

I thought about low crawling, but to loop around the wind, I'd be going about 300 yards or so...
I thought about crawling and sitting on a cushion instead of a chair

No, I'd be coming west about 1.5 miles past other opportunities

What about using some knee pads and crawling hands and knees? Should put you below the grass, allow you to move better than low crawl, make it easy to peek towards the bed while crawling. Just a thought.

I have two spots I hunt in goldenrod/ brush. It's a 200-300 yard crawl but it's the only way I've found to get in without bumping everything.

Thats the plan when I get back out there. I've laid out a path where I can be invisible until the last 80 yards. I want to go past the bed and get behind him so I can catch him when he adjusts/rotates/looks and not get picked off - also so if he bolts for some reason - I'm in his escape route.
