Hello
Been a deer hunter for 16 years and have become more successful with time. This will be my first season hunting public alot. I'm very excited for the challenge. Was looking at near by properties with onx. This is a very good example of what I'm finding alot of. Somewhere in North Carolina. Very thick planted pines ridges that dump into hardwood creek bottoms. There pretty much the only location to find oaks in the area. I have not put boots on the ground here yet. Was wondering if I'm on the right track. 3 or 4 ridges ending in one location. Creek bottoms with oaks. Questions which winds are good for here and any advice? Go in early am or midday? Thanks guys.
