I’m no expert but this is what I have noticed the last two seasons on a property I hunt in hill country these bucks I got on camera about 150 yards from bedding and the wind data for those days. It may not be a for sure thing but seems like it could help thing especially if you know he is around when it happens.

This exact scenario took place last year on day two of the Wisconsin season.
I “staged” as others have said. I dropped a ton of milkweed, waiting for the switch. As soon as it did I moved onto the oak island 150 yards away and hung.
Within 1.5 hours I had had three deer come from the former leeward side. One of which was a gnarly 13 point buck that I killed.
I hunt, I fish and I sing guitar solos in songs.
